Being a wedding planner in Charleston means we have the opportunity to see it all. From coastal wedding vibes, bold pops of color, and sophisticated neutrals, we are constantly inspired by the never ending possibilities that exist for wedding planning. While each year that passes brings along unique trends, we're often given a glimpse of what's to come full swing the following year. We've compiled a list of wedding trends we anticipate, and quite frankly, hope to see, in 2024!
Your wedding should be a depiction of YOU and your own personal style! But if you’re curious, here’s a list of some things predicted to be on the rise into the next year...
Color! Brides continue to play with non-traditional colors for their gowns; anything from blush to blue and beyond. (Alana’s gown above was a favorite from this past year!)
Pattern mixing for your bridal party. Letting each person choose their own dress within a guided color palette.
Mono-botanical flowers: choosing single stem types for your bouquet or for the table arrangements. (Think all roses or all ranunculus). It makes a big impact in a chic, visually pared-down way.
Customize! From your pillows to your bar inserts to your cocktail hour napkins...use a personalized crest or a favorite fabric to bring a cohesive and special touch to the small details.
Skip the boutonnieres. They’re a wreck by the end of the night, and there’s an old-hollywood, classic feel to just a simple suite or jacket.
